B-TXT: THE BRUSSELS DIGITAL TEXT LAB

B-TXT, the Brussels Digital Text Lab, is a core facility of the VUB that provides researchers working with (large bodies of) textual data with technical support. Our services range all the way from free advice for single scholars and tutorials or workshops for frequent issues to tailored (software) solutions for larger research projects or external parties.

While B-TXT is rooted in the digital humanities, its scope is by no means restricted to the humanities alone. With expertise in (the development of software for) the digitisation of both spoken and written text, the automated analysis, tagging or classification of documents and the visualisation of results, B-TXT explicitly targets researchers from all across the university.
