DISTANT READING

We support scholars working with large bodies of individual texts (e.g. news articles, social media posts, linguistic corpora, historical datasets, collections of novels, etc.) who want to explore their corpus by means of “distant reading” techniques. This includes, for instance, the automated detection of topics present in each text, flagging of hate speech, sentiment analysis, genre detection, tracing semantic or syntactic shifts through time, or the clustering of texts according to similarity.

WEBSCRAPING

If you would like to analyse large amounts online textual material (ebooks, social media comments, news articles, blogs, regular web pages etc.), we can help you download the material you’re interested in and turn it into a clean, structured and searchable corpus.

DATA CLEANING AND CONVERSION
