Data Explorer
Explore columns, values, and patterns in a CSV dataset.
What It Does
This app lets you upload a .csv file and explore it interactively. It uses Marimo’s data explorer, which helps you look at columns, values, distributions, and patterns in your table.
The goal is to give you a quick first impression of your data before you decide what to do with it next.
When To Use It
Use this app when you have a CSV dataset and want to understand its structure, contents, and possible issues.
Research Examples
- Inspect a corpus metadata table to see how many texts you have per period, author, genre, or source.
- Check survey or annotation data for missing values, unusual categories, or unexpected distributions.
Good To Know
This app does not change your data. It is mainly for exploration and checking.
You can find this app in the B-TXT toolsuite under Interactive Apps on the VUB-HPC portal.
